We’re more than just a store — we’re a community space where sustainability meets everyday living.

The idea for Life Essentials Refillery began on the water. While boating around Tampa Bay with my family, we noticed more and more trash washed up on the beautiful islands we loved to visit. Around the same time, I was searching for safe, skin-friendly products for my youngest daughter, who has severe eczema. That’s when it clicked — we could do more than just talk about the problem. We could be part of the solution.

Our mission is simple: make sustainable shopping easy, affordable, and enjoyable.

We believe small changes add up to a big difference. Every refill, every reusable container, and every local product we stock is part of building a cleaner, healthier community.

Meet the Founder

Sheila Haque is an entrepreneur, sustainability advocate, mother of 3 girls, and founder of Life Essentials Refillery, a refill grocery and wellness shop based in Tampa, Florida. With more than three decades of experience in business ownership and management and an MBA in Business Management, Sheila is passionate about helping people make everyday choices that are healthier for their families and better for the planet.

She founded Life Essentials Refillery after searching for safer, cleaner products for her own family and becoming increasingly aware of the amount of waste created by traditional retail packaging. The store focuses on refillable pantry goods, organic herbs and teas, natural personal care products, and locally sourced foods, making it easier for customers to reduce waste while supporting local farms and sustainable producers.

Beyond running her business, Sheila enjoys educating others about sustainable living, boating in Tampa Bay, and spending time with her family. She regularly works with community members and students to share practical ways people can build healthier homes, stronger local food systems, and more resilient communities.

Through her work, Sheila hopes to make sustainable living more accessible and to show that small changes in how we shop and consume can have a meaningful impact on both people and the environment.
