Organic Fair Trade Certified Alkali-Processed Cocoa Powder provides rich and well-rounded cocoa flavor. Also known as "Dutch-processed" cocoa, it's made by treating the cocoa bean paste with an alkalizing agent, which reduces tartness. This cocoa has a dark brown color and dissolves readily with whisking. It's an excellent cocoa in baked goods. Fair Trade products support farming families through fair prices, direct trade, community development and environmental stewardship.
